I'll stamp all over 'credible combatant' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters met personally to publicize next month's bout.

Former twice world title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Mindset

"I will injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Still, the novice continues to be one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, consistently making huge financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.

Physical Disparity

As the two fighters participated in the traditional face-off, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly going ahead.
